Sean Quinn's Son And Nephew Sentenced To Three Months

The son and nephew of businessman Sean Quinn have been sentenced to three months behind bars for contempt of court.

Peter Darragh Quinn, who has a warrant for his arrest after failing to attend the High Court Hearing, and Sean Jnr can purge the contempt at any time.

Mr Quinn was not jailed but has been ordered to co-operate with the bank to purge the contempt of court.

Judge Elizabeth Dunne said she would leave the matter, to see what Quinn did about the overseas assets.

Quinn was found guilty of contempt last month for violating an order not to block the bank from taking €500m of assets he had hidden abroad.
