McIlroy Hits Boy With Golf Ball
Golfer Rory McIlroy has given a boy a signed glove after he was hit on the head by a golf ball McIlroy hit.
Bristol boy, Jason Blue, was hit with the ball at the Open Championship at Royal Lytham.
The 16-year-old was left with a bruise on his head but no stitches.
Jason said: "Rory came over and said 'Sorry, are you okay. I don't think this will help much but here you are' (giving him a signed glove). He was quite apologetic.
"I don't imagine he will be too happy with the fact I knocked it out of bounds - I'll apologise if I see him again.
"My parents saw it on the TV. It took me a while to call them and tell them I was okay.
"I still want Rory to do well and I'll probably go out and watch him tomorrow."

Rory McIlroy has been knocked out in the opening round of the WGC Match Play in Arizona. The world number one lost on the final green to fellow Irishman Shane Lowry. Tiger Woods and Lee Westwood were also knocked out on Thursday. McIlroy changed club and ball suppliers from Titleist to Nike at the start of this year in a big money deal.

Three Die In Irish Cruiser Tragedy
Three men have died and one has been dramatically rescued after their fishing boat caught fire off the coast of County Cork yesterday evening. The 25-foot ship sank in the waters south of Roundcarrig Lighthouse off Adrigole Harbour in Bantry Bay. The four men were on a fishing trip when the tragedy occurred.
