GAA Challenge For Fans
The ultimate GAA challenge has been released and its creators dare anyone to try beating it.
Official sponsors of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, eircom, launched their Championship Challenge today with the help of Mickey Harte, Donie Shine and Johnny Doyle.
While Roscommon and Tyrone will soon go head to head on the pitch in the GAA All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Qualifiers, Harte and Shine took the competition off the pitch by taking the eircom GAA Championship Challenge at eircom HQ along with Kildare captain, Johnny Doyle. To get a flavor for how they fared, you can check out the preview video on www.experiencemore.ie/challenge.
GAA football fans can now compete to be crowned the top scorer from their province. With only fifteen seconds to answer each of five questions, there is no room for hesitation for fans willing to take the challenge and put their reputations on the line every week until September 3.
The top 10 scores in each province will be displayed on the official scoreboard every week with the highest scorers on September 3 crowned provincial winner and receiving three tickets to watch the GAA All-Ireland Football Final from the comfort of a corporate box in Croke Park.
Carolan Lennon of eircom said: "We are expecting a great response to the Challenge and judging by what we've seen so far, the winners will demonstrate an impressive level of knowledge."
