Alarm Control 24 Announces 60 New Jobs

Alarm Control 24, based in Dublin, has announced 60 new jobs for Sandyford.

The alarm monitoring firm invested €3m in rolling put its new Radio Telemetry Network.

Thirty positions will be created in the first two years of Alarm Control 24's expansion, while a further 20-30 jobs are to come from plans for another expansion in 2014.

Irish engineering jobs are to triple over the next ten years, according to a new report. The figures, which come after it was revealed that 6% of workers in the trade are currently unemployed, have been released in an Engineers Ireland survey.
