Man Charged With Attempted Murder

A 25-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after shots were fired at a house in Antrim.

Two people were uninjured in the attack which happened in the Bleerick area in the early hours of Thursday morning.

The man is also being charged with being in possession of a firearm and possession of drugs with intent to supply.

He is due to appear at Larne Magistrates' Court later today.

A 35-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. The victim, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition after being assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. The suspect is due to appear at Coleraine Magistrates' Court on Monday, 17 October.

A 42-year-old man has been charged with possession of a Class A controlled drug with intent to supply. He is expected to appear before Lisburn Magistrates Court today, 22 October. Police seized a significant amount of suspected cocaine following the search of a vehicle in the Lisburn area on Wednesday.

Man Charged With Colin Horner Murder
A man has been charged with the murder of Colin Horner. Mr Horner, 35, was shot in front of his three-year-old son at a supermarket car park in the Balloo Link area of Bangor on Sunday, 28 May. The 28-year-old suspect has also been charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition with intent to endanger life.

Arrest In West Belfast UDA Investigation
Detectives investigating the activities of the west Belfast UDA have arrested and charged a 33-year-old man with a number of offences. The charges follow a number of raids in the Bangor and Newtownards areas on Monday 03 June.
