One Day In The Life Of Belfast's Next Generation
Ninety "fascinating" images by first-time photographers from Belfast's primary school pupils will go on display next week.
Royal Ulster Academy of Arts president Julian Friers praised the quality of the work in the One Day in the Life Of competition.
He said: "To take a photograph is to make similar decisions to those made by a painter – subject matter, composition, light and shade, colour, all are important in producing an image. Put these decisions in the hands of young people and the results are fascinating."
The exhibition, sponsored by KPMG, runs at the RUA gallery in River House, High Street, Belfast from June 6 to June 20.
