The new Ulster Unionist Party leader Mike Nesbitt has announced a re-shuffle of his Assembly team.

Tom Elliott is to replace Basil McCrea on the Justice Committee and Danny Kinahan on the Environment Committee.

Danny Kinahan will take Tom Elliott's place on the OFMdFM Committee and Ross Hussey will now replace Roy Beggs on Regional Development Committee and Finance Committee.

John McCallister is set to take over from Sandra Overend on AERC while Ms Overend will become Deputy Whip of the Ulster Unionist Assembly Group.

Jo-Anne Dobson will become APS to Regional Development Minister, Danny Kennedy.

Mr Nesbitt said: "I have taken the last two weeks since my election as leader to look at my Assembly team and assess how I could best utilise each member and ensure that everyone is able to play to their strengths.

"Looking at the Ulster Unionist Assembly team, I see a group that is building for the future. We have a good mix of experience and new talent all taking up important roles at the heart of our government. I am confident that this team will work together to ensure that the Assembly is delivering for Northern Ireland."
