Man Charged With Crossbow Attack

A 32-year-old man has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in relation to a crossbow attack at a Belfast nightclub.

A bolt was fired from the weapon outside Rain, on Tomb Street, shortly after 11pm on Wednesday 11 January.

No one was injured in the incident, but damage was caused to a window of the building.

The man has been charged with four counts of attempted grievous bodily harm, possession of an offensive weapon and criminal damage.

Man Charged With Murder To Appear In Court
A man charged with attempted murder is due to appear at Dungannon Magistrates' Court today. He is believed to have attacked a taxi driver in Dungannon at around 8pm on Saturday. He is also understood to have tried rob the victim. The 30 year old has also been charged with attempted robbery and possession of an offensive weapon.

Man Stabbed Several Times In Craigavon
A man, aged in his 50s, is being treated in hospital following a stabbing attack in Craigavon. The assault happened in the Derrytrasna Lane area at around 7.40pm on Monday, 18 December. The victim sustained injuries to his neck, face and abdomen, however his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Man Arrested Following Incident At House In Coleraine
A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.

Teen Arrested After Police Seize Samurai Sword And Axe
A 19-year-old man has been arrested after police seized a Samurai sword and an axe in Co Armagh. Police were alerted of a disturbance in the Killylea Road area in the early hours of Tuesday morning. A sword and an axe were seized and the man was arrested for alleged possession of an offensive weapon and suspected criminal damage.
