Alliance Former Deputy Leader Addie Morrow Dies
Alliance Leader David Ford MLA and Deputy Leader Naomi Long MP have expressed their condolences following the death of former Deputy Leader Addie Morrow. Addie served as a Councillor on Castlereagh Council and in the 1982 Assembly.
Mr Ford MLA said: "Addie was a founder member of Corrymeela and was active in Alliance from the very beginning of the Party. His whole life was a practical demonstration of his commitment to peace and reconciliation.
"He was a huge inspiration to many of us now in the leadership of the Party.
"On behalf of everyone in Alliance, I would like to express my sympathies to his wife Nancy and his children and grandchildren."
Naomi Long MP said: "I was very saddened to hear of Addie’s passing. He was a great servant to the people of East Belfast and worked tirelessly for the promotion of community relations.
"I would like to express my condolences to the whole Morrow family. I know he will be sorely missed by everybody in Alliance and further afield."

Missing Alliance Councillor Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing Alliance councillor David Armitage has been found "safe and well" and is said to be "getting the help he needs". Appeals were issued on social media for Mr Armitage after concerns were raised for his well-being. Posting to her Twitter accounts, Alliance leader Naomi Long thanked everyone who helped search for Mr Armitage.

Protestors Fail To Confront Alliance Leader
Republicans have this morning missed their target and failed to confront the NI Justice Minister over a prison dispute. They staged their protest in support of prisoners at the Alliance Party headquarters in south Belfast - but failed in their mission to come face to face with the Alliance Leader David Ford who is also the Justice Minister.
