Warrenpoint Company Launches Task Monitor
Warrenpoint company Taskmaestro has successfully launched an innovative product which was developed and marketed with the support of Invest Northern Ireland.
The product is a wall mounted touch screen device which provides catering and hospitality staff with a 'to do’ list that creates scheduled alerts and timely 'must do' instructions. The product holds the staff member accountable through the use of biometric fingerprint recognition technology and also guides them through the process with video training modules.
Taskmaestro has sold the product into several local businesses and has caught the attention of some national restaurant and fast food chains.
The company was set up in 2009 by Gabriel Bradley who has over 15 years’ experience in the hospitality sector.
Mark Bleakney, Manager of Invest NI's Southern Regional office, said: "This is a highly innovative product with significant export potential and it looks set to become an essential management tool for the hospitality industry.
"Mr Bradley initially developed his strategy for bringing the idea to market through participation in Invest NI’s Propel programme and we also provided marketing and management development support. We will continue to work closely with the company as it targets export markets."
