Man's Body Lay Undiscovered Since Christmas
A post mortem will be carried out tomorrow on the body of a man that lay undiscovered for three months at his home in the Republic of Ireland.The body was found on Sunday night after a passerby on Lower John Street in the town centre of Wexford noticed a Christmas tree in the window with the lights still on.With the house draped in Christmas decorations and the heating still on the body of the man, whose identity is not being released until his next of kin have been informed, was found on the floor in one of the bedrooms in an advanced state of decomposition. A post mortem is to be carried out at Waterford Regional Hospital tomorrow. The man's death is not being treated as suspicious.
Woman's body found in the Mournes
The body found at Spelga Dam in Co Down on Saturday was a woman, police have confirmed. A police spokesperson said investigations are ongoing in the Mournes.
At this stage the death is not being treated as suspicious.A post-mortem is due to take place next week.
Historic UVF Rifle Sells For Only £65
A 1914 UVF rifle- excavated from the grounds of the Maze prison 30 years ago- went under the hammer yesterday for a mere £65. The historic piece was one of nearly 200 lots sold at a fundraising auction. The event,organised by the Orange Order, raised £2,000 for Queen’s LOL 1845. Eagle-eyed collectors crammed into Co Down’s Listullycurran Orange hall to bid for 186 items, which had been donated by local people. They included the partially-intact UVF weapon dating back to the time of the Home Rule crisis.

Police Appeal For Parents Of Baby Found Dead In 1984
Police have issued an appeal for the parents of a baby boy found dead on the banks of the River Lagan on 21 February 1984. A woman out walking her dog found the babies body inside a green plastic bag at Legacurry Road in Lisburn 30 years ago. A post-mortem examination found that the baby had died of head injuries.

Co Antrim Man Found Dead In Ibiza Sustained Head Injuries
A County Antrim man found dead in a hotel room in Ibiza sustained head injuries, according to Ireland's expert State Pathologist. Alan Drennan, 21, was found dead just 24 hours after arriving in Ibiza. Mr Drennan was detained by Spanish police when he arrived on the holiday island, and friends claim that he was attacked by the police.

The body of a missing 60-year-old Belfast man has been found. James White was last seen close to his home in the Kings Square area of Dundonald at around 8.30am on Thursday March 16. A number of public appeals were issued in a bid to find the missing man along with searches throughout the city of Belfast, however nothing was found until last night.
