atbec ltd Gain Unique Accreditation

In the current economic climate and with the constant pressure on suppliers to lower prices, atbec ltd have adopted an alternative strategy aimed at winning new clients.

"Our clients, including many of the largest building contractors and private architectural practices in Northern Ireland recognise the value of, not only the services we offer, but also of the quality of their delivery".

Mike Crotty, one of the three founding partners continued, "With this in mind, we have developed a Quality Management System, designed to ensure that we not only deliver our services to the highest standards of technical competence, but that every aspect of our business is geared for continual improvement."

With mentoring provided through Invest NI, the company have developed the system to a standard where they will shortly be the first Northern Ireland registered business in their field to receive UKAS accreditation.

"Whilst the accreditation process has been a steep learning curve, it was an integral part of our development to achieve this goal. Currently our Air Tightness Testing services are covered, but we have applied the same management system throughout the business. It is our intention to expand the scope of the accreditation over the coming months."

Mike finished by saying "In a price driven market, where we have demonstrated our competitiveness, clients now have the added benefit of knowing that we operate in a manner that can be independently audited against an internationally recognised standard."
