Comic Legend Comes Home
Frank Carson's body has returned to Belfast.
The comedian's open coffin was displayed in a funeral parlour where he grew up in north Belfast and family, friends and fans have been paying tributes.
His funeral will be held at St Patrick's Church at 11.30am on Saturday.
The 85-year-old died last Wednesday following a long battle with stomach cancer.
Since his death he has been remembered in many tributes by television personalities.
A book of condolence was opened in the City Hall last week.

Hundreds of people have visited the grave of football legend George Best who was buried in Roselawn Cemetery on Saturday. Visitors to the cemetery on Sunday viewed the hundreds of wreaths and mementoes left in honour of the 59-year-old star.

Tributes have emerged following the death of highly-acclaimed Belfast poet Ciaran Carson. The writer and musician passed away on Sunday 06 October, aged 70, following an illness. Among the host of awards and recognition garnered throughout Mr Carsons career are the TS Eliot Prize and the Forward Prize.

Tributes To SF Councillor
Tributes have been paid to a long serving Belfast councillor, who died at the weekend. Sinn Fein member Marie Moore passed away at the Royal Victoria Hospital on Saturday, having been ill for some time. She was 72-years-old.

A new Child Funeral Fund, offering a one-off lump sum payment of £3,056 to help families with the cost of a funeral on the death of a child under 18 or in the event of a stillbirth after 24 weeks, has now come into operation, Communities Minister Deirdre Hargey has announced.
