Woman Charged With Firearm Possession

A woman has been charged with possession of a firearm following a police search in west Belfast.

PSNI discovered a suspected firearm at a house in Norglen Parade early on Saturday morning.

The 27-year-old is due to appear in court at a later date.

A 31-year-old male and a 23-year-old female also arrested have been released pending reports.

The charge will be reviewed by the Public Prosecutions Service.

Pair Charged Over North Belfast Aggravated Burglary
Two men are due in court over an aggravated burglary in north Belfast. The pair, aged 30 and 33, were charged following the incident in Alexandra Park Avenue on Tuesday night, 19 November. The incident saw a number of men smash their way into the property while armed with weapons including a suspected firearm and a hammer.
