Ian Paisley Released From Intensive Care

Ian Paisley has been moved out of intensive care at the Ulster Hospital.

The former First Minister, 85, was admitted to the hospital on Feb 5th for the treatment of heart problems.

Lord Bannside, who had pacemaker fitted last February after being taken ill in the House of Lords, is believed to be making 'steady progress'.

The ex-DUP leader stood down as First Minister in 2008.

He ended 60 years of full-time ministry in January.
