NI House Prices Continue To Plummet
The average house prices in Northern Ireland are continuing to fall.
According to the University of Ulster’s Quarterly House price Index the average cost of a house is down 11% on this time last year.
The average house in Northern Ireland now rests at £137,000. The sharpest decline in prices has been for apartments while semi-detached and terrace houses have had the lowest fall in price.
House sales in Northern Ireland however rose in the final quarter of 2011.
But over 100 estate agents were surveyed and revealed that one third of the houses sold for less than £100K while the other two thirds sold for less than £150K.

The growth in house prices in Northern Ireland has accelerated, according to the latest University of Ulster Quarterly House Price Index. The survey for the quarter April to June 2004 revealed that the overall average price of residential property reached a new high of £112,806, up 4.7% on the first quarter of the year.

Northern Ireland house prices reach all time high
House prices in Northern Ireland have risen to an all time high according to figures released today from a study at the University of Ulster. The cost of property in the province has risen by 22%, making the price of the average home approximately £146,000. The biggest increases were in the prices of apartments, terraced houses and townhouses.

House prices in Northern Ireland are rising by around £600 per week, a study published today has revealed. The latest quarterly price index, compiled by the University of Ulster, has showed that the average price of a home was £153,868, an increase of £31,000 since last year.
