Women Questioned Over Comber Murder

Two 20-year-old women have been arrested following the murder of a man in Comber in January.

36-year-old Philip Strickland was found shot dead in a car in the Ballydrain Road area on 11th January.

Seven people have already been charged in connection with the murder and 16 people have been questioned.

Eighth Arrest In Ian Ogle Murder Investigation
An eighth suspect has been arrested by detectives investigating the murder of a Belfast community worker. 45-year-old Ian Ogle was stabbed 11 times by a group of men on Sunday night, 27 January. A 21-year-old man arrested on Wednesday has been released on bail pending further enquiries, while a 22-year-old man remains in custody.

Mark Ponisi Murder: Two People Charged
Two people have been charged in connection with the murder of a man in east Belfast. The body of Mark Ponisi was discovered in a property in the London road area at around 10am on Saturday, 20 January. A 25-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman are to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, 23 January.

Arrest Made In Connection With Attempted Murder On 06 January
A man, aged in his 60s, has been arrested by PSNI detectives investigating an attempted murder in Ardmore, L'Derry last month. The arrest is part of an investigation by detectives into a report shots were fired at a house on Ardkill Road on the evening of Saturday 6th January.

Three people being questioned about murder
Detectives are questioning two men and one woman about the murder of a man in his thirties in a stabbing incident in County Antrim. Trevor Halliday, from the Ravenhill area in Belfast, was stabbed in Pembroke Court, Glengormley at around 02:30am on Sunday morning.

Three people still being questioned over hostel murder
Three people are still being questioned by police in connection with the murder of a man at Belfast city centre hostel on Wednesday. The victim, whose name has not yet been released, was found dead at the Lee Hestia hostel in Brunswick Street, at around 3.30am yesterday morning.
