New TV Series To Be Filmed In NI
A new TV series is set to be filmed in Northern Ireland, it has been revealed.
Produced by Twenty Twenty Television the new series is set in 1960 and based on the last intake of conscripts for National Service.
It is understood that the show titled Privates will commence filming in the next few months and will feature a cast including Patrick Baladi, and Marc Silcock.
Northern Ireland Screen said the investment in such a project would help develop the Northern Ireland production sector.
The series is supported by Invest NI and funded by Northern Ireland Screen and the European Regional Development Fund.

First Ministers Congratulate Game Of Thrones BAFTA
The First and deputy First Minister have congratulated HBO fantasy epic Game of Thrones on winning the Radio Times Audience Award at the BAFTAs. The show, which is based on the books A Song of Ice and Fire by George RR Martin, is filmed in various locations around Northern Ireland, including at Titanic Studios in Belfast.

The cult US fantasy series Game of Thrones will return to Northern Ireland to film a fourth series, it has been confirmed. The news came as First Minister Peter Robinson and deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness announced they had received confirmation from American broadcasters HBO.
