Easibook launch corporate hotel deal
Easibook has launched a joint venture with Polyglobe, a global travel and accommodation solutions company, to offer preferred corporate rates with over 10,000 leading UK, European and North American hotels to SMEs and organisations worldwide.
Revealing the motivation behind his business venture, Easybook director Alan Cooke said he saw the frustration encountered by small and medium business users who were being charged full rates for hotel rooms, when large firms were enjoying much cheaper rates.
As a result Easibook has now negotiated similar hotel deals with top chains so that business people in smaller organisations can access real time booking and discounted hotel rates worldwide.
Mr Cooke said that the aim was to harness the global buying power of SMEs to purchase hotel rooms online for local businesses at the lowest possible prices.
Telephone support comes from London and Belfast with Easibook bypassing the normal hotel booking systems. The company now works directly with each hotel’s reservation system to provide real time prices, availability and confirmations. Membership is also free, with no fees or commissions to be paid. (MB)
