NI Downloads Most Apps In The UK
It has been revealed that Northern Ireland tablet and smartphone owners download the most apps in the UK.
According to research carried out by The Sunday Times ahead of the release of its Apps List 2012 Northern Ireland smartphone owners own an average of 60 apps and use at least eight of them a day.
This is compared to the rest of the UK who own national average of 38 and use around six a day.
The research found that over half of smartphone owners use their devices for apps more than calls, texts or emails.
Meanwhile it was revealed that 81 million apps were downloaded in the United Kingdom alone in the last week of 2011.
It was also found that about half of smartphone owners download an app at least once a week.

Traffic Warning For South Belfast Ahead Of Northern Ireland Match
Road users are advised to plan for potential traffic delays in the south Belfast area on Friday, 15th November due to the UEFA Nations League football match between Northern Ireland and Belarus. The match will take place at Windsor Park, kicking off at 7.45pm, and it is expected that around 18,000 supporters will attend.

Get Online Week 2018 Announced
A range of events providing free digital training sessions have been announced for Get Online Week 2018, by Permanent Secretary at the Department of Finance, Sue Gray, during a visit to a digital training session at Ballyhackamore Library. Get Online Week will take place from 15–21 October 2018 with a range of events across Northern Ireland.
