Occupy Belfast Take Over Vacant Bank
Protesters are occupying a former and vacant Bank of Ireland building in Belfast’s city centre as part of the 'occupy' movement.
Police are currently at the scene, after a number of people were reported to be inside the disused premises on Royal Avenue.
Masked men and women are at the windows of the building on the corner of North Street and Royal Avenue and it is understood that they have erected banners on the outside of the building.
The police and fire service have not yet entered the premises or attempted to remove the protesters.

Occupy Belfast’s protesters want an end to economic inequality, unemployment, debt and corruption in the financial sector.
The protesters claim, in the current economic crisis, that 99% of people are suffering while 1% are being bailed out.

Man Dies After Bus Fall In Belfast
Detectives are investigating the death of an 80-year-old man who fell from a bus in Belfast. Police have said that they believe the man was travelling on a 2J Translink Metro bus service at around 11:15am on Friday, 08 November, when he suffered a fall as the bus travelled along Royal Avenue, near it's junction with North Street.

Anti-war activists occupy Derry firm
Activists who stormed a leading American software manufacturer in Londonderry earlier today, are still occupying the premises. The Derry Anti-War Coalition have been throwing computer equipment and documents out of first floor windows, and protesters have said that "weapons manufactured by Raytheon were being used by Israel to bomb Lebanon.

Former US President Bill Clinton has honoured Nobel Laureate and former SDLP leader John Hume during a visit to L'Derry. Mr Clinton walked with the Nobel Laureate and prominent politican across L'Derry's Peace Bridge this morning, before making a speech in the city centre, where he honoured Mr Hume.
