Headquarters Damaged By Vandals

Headquarters of the Quinn Group have been badly damaged after a lorry drove into the staff canteen in Derrylin, Co Fermanagh.

The vehicle backed into the building, leaving a large hole in the wall at Ballyconnell Road on Wednesday at 6pm.

The lorry was found burnt out on a side road, and there were no injuries.

Businessman Sean Quinn is currently in a court battle to have his bankruptcy overturned.

A PSNI spokesman said: "Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident of criminal damage to a commercial premises in the Ballyconnell Road area of Derrylin on the evening of Wednesday 21st December.

"Anyone who noticed any suspicious activity at approximately 6pm is asked to contact Enniskillen police station."

Lorry Overturns In Co Tyrone
A lorry has crashed and overturned in Co Tyrone. It is understood the cement lorry crashed into a graveyard at St Mark's church. Police have said the Crossowen Road, between Augher and Clogher, is closed in both directions. The driver of the vehicle has been taken to hospital for treatment. It is understood his injuries are not life-threatening.

30-Year-Old Man Dies In Glenshane Pass Collision
Police have renewed an appeal for information on a fatal road traffic collision on the Glenshane Pass. A 30-year-old man died when the car he was driving was involved in a collision with a tanker lorry near the Ponderosa bar between Dungiven and Maghera at 05:20 on Monday 09 August.

Runaway lorry crashes into house
A runaway lorry has crashed into a house in Co Down on Wednesday. The incident occurred on Main Street in Crossgar as the lorry driver was making a delivery. The Dutch registered articulated lorry was parked on an incline at Mary's Lane just off Crossgar's Main Street when it began rolling down the street before crashing into the house.
