US firm believed to be moving to Belfast
It is believed that a major announcement regarding a US firm investment which is expected to create new job opportunities for Belfast will be made before the end of this week.
Sources revealed that the company, believed to be in the IT sector, will invest a large amount of money to set up business in Belfast which will create more job opportunities for people in Northern Ireland.
If everything goes according to plan this will be a significant boost for the IT sector in Northern Ireland, as it will broaden the customer base and services of the sector.
According to sources the firm intends to target software development companies that make products for the US, and the Northern Ireland company will distribute IT support to the US company.
The top firm is believed to be in the prestigious “500 list” which features America’s fastest growing private companies. (CD)

Traffic Warning For South Belfast Ahead Of Northern Ireland Match
Road users are advised to plan for potential traffic delays in the south Belfast area on Friday, 15th November due to the UEFA Nations League football match between Northern Ireland and Belarus. Diageo Ends London Irish Deal Over Signing Of Paddy Jackson
Diageo has cancelled its sponsorship of the London Irish rugby team over the signing of Paddy Jackson. The firm made the announcement on Thursday, 13 June. A spokesperson for the drinks company said: "We have met with the club to express our concerns. Their recent decision is not consistent with our values and so we have ended our sponsorship.

NIHE Building Firm In Administration
A building firm which carried out repair work for the Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE) has gone into administration. According to the Belfast Telegraph, Mel Davison Construction said increased financial pressures were to blame for the move. The Belfast and Portadown-based company currently employs around 150 staff.

Belfast's InShops To Close
InShops in Belfast's city centre are set to close it has been revealed this afternoon. The 25 shops which employ around 60 people have until June 26 to evacuate the premises. According to the centre's manager the news was broke on Thursday last and came as a shock.

NI people need to take heed of will deficit
A leading charity has said that around 50% of people who die in Northern Ireland do not have a will. The Simon Community revealed the statistic as part of a campaign to raise awareness of the issue of being intestate. The campaign involves Belfast law firm Francis Hanna and Company assisting people to make out a will free of charge.
