Murder Probe As Derry Stab Victim Dies
Police in Northern Ireland have launched a murder investigation after a man in his 50s died from stabbing wounds in Londonderry.
The 51-year-old man was attacked on Tuesday afternoon in the Francis Street area of the city.
The man died in hospital last night as result of his wounds.
A 34-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the murder and remains in custody on suspicion of attempted murder.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Arrest Over Attempted Murder
Police have arrested a 25-year-old man in on suspicion of attempted murder following an incident on the Limestone Road in north Belfast on Friday night. A 25-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment for injuries sustained during the attack, in which a number of people are believed to have been involved.

Police make fresh appeal in murder inquiry
Police have re-appealed for information following the murder of a man in Belfast city centre last week. Robert McCartney, 33, from Mountpottinger Road in east Belfast, died from stab wounds following what police described as a “pub fight” at around 11pm on Sunday January 30.

Man Dies In Portadown Road Crash
An 18-year-old man has died following a collision in Portadown. The crash happened on the Dungannon Road between midnight and 12.30am on Wednesday, 08 November. The road has been re-opened. Elsewhere, a man, aged in his 30's, has died in a road collision in Co Antrim.
