Lady Ga Ga To Appear At EMAs
MTV have announced that Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars will both perform at the star swollen EMA ceremony in Belfast in November.
Both acts are this year's top female and male European Music Award nominees, according to MTV, even though neither is European.
Additionally, the first batch of 2011 EMA presenters has been announced, with Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi and Jenni 'JWOWW' Farley of Jersey Shore 'fame', and Ashley Rickards from MTV's hit scripted series Awkward confirmed to appear. The news came as tickets for an associated free outdoor concert in Belfast were being sold online for more than £150 each - but were later withdrawn after requests by Belfast City Council over the 'illegal trading'.
Northern Ireland rock band Snow Patrol will headline the gig at the City Hall (pictured here) on 6 November, coinciding with the MTV European Music Awards at the Odyssey Arena.
Among the other attractions will be a performance by the Red Hot Chili Peppers in the Ulster Hall as well as a number of fringe events, including the first ever Northern Ireland Music Awards.
