Top Car Brand Bucks Economic Downturn
Prestige cars seem to be recession-proof with news this week that Ferrari has opened Stratstone Manchester's new showroom in Wilmslow.
It is the first dealership in the north west of England to display Ferrari's new Corporate Identity and has a full sales and aftersales facilities. Wilmslow was selected as the location of the new showroom as it brings Stratstone Manchester closer to their existing client base and core demongraphic.
Ferrari's new Dealership Corporate Identity was first introduced in 2010 and Stratstone Manchester is the first dealership in the north west of England to represent the new CI of the brand.
Matteo Torre, Regional Manager for Ferrari North Europe, commented: "Ferrari's new brand identity is designed to provide a welcoming environment for customers, who can relax and enjoy the purchase and ownership experience.
"Ferrari is committed to providing the highest level of customer care and we are delighted to see the new showroom opening here in Wilmslow as I know we have many enthusiastic clients in the area whose experience with the brand will be enhanced by the new facilities," he said.
James Brearley, Managing Director of Stratstone, commented: "We are proud to be representing Ferrari in Wilmslow and this new dealership reflects our passion and commitment to the brand and the ideals that it represents.

Ferrari 599 GTO 'Fastest Ever'
With a Fiorano lap time of 1'24" the 599 GTO is the fastest road-going Ferrari ever. A mid-front engined V12 berlinetta, in the finest Ferrari tradition, an exclusive limited series of 599 cars will be built on the platform of the production car, but developed with an entirely different concept in mind.

Ferrari's 'Vettura Laboratorio'
Ferrari has presented a vettura laboratorio (experimental vehicle) at the 80th edition of the Geneva Motor Show based on the 599 GTB Fiorano equipped with an advanced new hybrid transmission. Hybrid technology is one of the solutions examined by Ferrari in its on-going research and development into making its production cars ever more efficient.
