New TK Maxx store set for Lisburn

Fashion retailer TK Maxx is set to open a new store in Lisburn resulting in the creation of around 70 new jobs.

The company’s third store in the province will be situated in Bow Street Mall shopping centre and is due to open on September 20.

TK Maxx, the European Subsidiary of American retail company TJX, currently operates more than 80 stores across the UK, with plans to open a further 18 this year.

Their new Lisburn shop, which joins sister branches in Belfast and Coleraine, will offer 25,000 sq ft of famous label womenswear, menswear, kidswear, homewear and gifts.

The company is also planning to open a store in Newry before the end of the year. (MB)

Primark To Open New Belfast Store
Primark has announced it is planning to open a store in Belfast city centre later this year. The retailer has said it will open in Commonwealth House on Castle Street in December. It comes after the company was granted permission to commence work on the badly damaged Bank Buildings in Belfast.
