Big NI Wedding Show Countdown Begins
TV wedding experts Ant & Dick are set to host Northern Ireland's first ever 'all-inclusive' wedding show.
The duo are inviting couples to come along and enjoy a great day out whilst also sourcing products and inspiration for their big day.
"Straight couples, gay couples, multi cultural couples, whoever - whatever, everyone is welcome," Anthony Miller said.
"Northern Ireland's wedding industry is very current and our society is becoming more and more diverse by the day," the wedding planner continued.
"However, nobody until now has represented the industry or our couples across the board, opting instead to market to the traditional white straight stereotype and having spoken with many couples over the years anyone who doesn't fit into the regular category is made to feel like the poor cousin.
"I am an ambassador for the Unite Against Hate Campaign and I take my role very seriously, I am on a mission to ensure Northern Ireland loses it's negative image of not being accepting, because I believe we are actually a very welcoming people.
"It's time that industry leaders here do their part and rethink their communications and marketing strategies to reflect the true spirit of our businesses and community."
The Big Northern Ireland Wedding Show promises to be fun and informative.
The wedding planners have invited some celebrity friends along to share their knowledge.
The fashion show is being directed by former Miss NI Alison Campbell who is set to marry professional golfer Darren Clarke.
There will be international dance and fashion with a show stopping show, like never ever seen before here in Northern Ireland.
Dicky and Ant will also be hosting inspiration sessions.
"Our champagne bar is right in the heart of the entertainment zone, couples can enjoy champagne and strawberries whilst tapping their feet to the tones and tunes of Northern Ireland's cream of wedding entertainment."
Couples attending the event will be in with a chance of winning a free wedding via the Daily Mirror.
