Jobs' Boost For Dublin and Galway

One hundred new jobs are to be created by companies in Co Galway and Dublin.

A medical devices company, Care Fusion, in Gort, Co Galway, is creating 35 new jobs.

The IDA-supported investment will bring the workforce medical company to 130. Meanwhile 30 extra positions are to be created at the Valeo plant in Tuam, Co Galway. Valeo designs and manufactures multi-camera systems for the automotive industry. Elsewhere, 25 new positions will be filled by Hollyban Ltd, trading as Bluebird Care, in Dublin.

Bluebird Care provides non-medical services in the home. Ten new 'cloud-computing' jobs have also been announced in Dublin.

The jobs are coming on stream at Irish cloud software company Fort Technologies, to support Fort's export and Irish market development plans.

The positions will be based at the company's headquarters in Citywest and will be filled by the end of next year.

320 New Jobs To Be Created In Dublin
320 new jobs are to be created in Dublin by six North American high growth companies. The investments are supported by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation through IDA Ireland. The new jobs will be spread across a number of sectors such as Technology and Business Services.

Jobs Boost In Ballincollig Welcomed
