The Message Pad to support e.Government agenda
National contact centre company, The Message Pad Ltd, is celebrating their inclusion in the Government Telecommunications Contract (GTC).
One of only 19 companies awarded a Framework Agreement for ‘application services’, The Message Pad will now be able to provide solutions involving multimedia contact centres to any Public Sector body without a lengthy tendering process.
Christopher James, managing director of The Message Pad, said: “We are delighted with the decision to include The Message Pad in the Government Telecommunications Contract. The e.Government initiative is all about improving accessibility to government services and the unique systems we have developed are ideally suited and particularly cost effective for this purpose.”
Peter Gershon, chief executive of the Office of Government Commerce (OGC), added: “These new arrangements will play a major role in providing Government departments with innovative and value for money IT and Telecommunications solutions. I am delighted to see that this competition under EC procurements rules has resulted in the selection of a significant number of SMEs (Small & Medium sized Enterprises).”
The Message Pad Ltd, based in Warwick, operates 11 contact centres based throughout the UK including Belfast, with each centre providing a wide range of services to both public and private sector clients. (MB)
