€3m Housing Development In Dublin Approved

Permission has been approved by Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council for the demolition of existing dwellings and the construction of 21 houses in four three-storey blocks.

The development, designed by Dublin-based architects Walsh Associates consists of two type a (3-storey 4-bedroom end of terrace house - 151.10 sq.m); 2 type a1 (3-storey 4-bedroom end of terrace house - 149.96 sq.m); 17 type b (3-storey 4-bedroom terraced house - 142.78 sq.m); the development also consists of the closure of 2 existing vehicular entrances to the existing dwellings and the provision of 1 new centrally located vehicular entrance off Shanganagh road; the realignment of the Shanganagh road to the front of the site.

The scheme also includes the provision of 42 surface car-parking spaces; the provision of bin storage areas, play areas, bicycle parking and all associated footpaths, landscaping and ancillary site development works.

The development will measure 3,029 sq.m. and will be located on a 0.5 hectare site.
