Man Arrested For Murder Following Carrick Body Find

A 38-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder, after a woman's body was found in Carrickfergus.

The body of the 29-year-old woman was found in a house in the Pattersons Row area of the Co. Antrim town around 6pm on Tuesday.

Police are continuing to question the 38-year-old man on suspicion of murder.

Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area on Tuesday or who has any other information is asked to contact police.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Murder After Man Dies Following Attack
A 35-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man died from his injuries after being assaulted in Coleraine. Mark Lamont, 54, was seriously injured after he was attacked outside a house on the Ballycastle Road in September. He died in the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast on Tuesday, 11 October.
