Saturdays Announce Belfast And Dublin Dates

All-girl pop band The Saturdays have announced two exclusive Irish dates onto the end of their upcoming arena tour.

The girls will be coming to Belfast’s Odyssey Arena on Sunday December 18 and The O2, Dublin the following night.

Probably the biggest girl bands in the UK, after the indefinite suspension of the all conquering Girl's Aloud, the five girls have sold over 2 million singles and albums in the UK alone.

Frankie, Vanessa, Una, Mollie and Rochelle are currently celebrating eight Top 10 UK singles, including Higher feat Flo Rida, Missing You and Ego. The band's announcement comes just after their joint headline show in Portrush with boy-band The Wanted.

In a statement issued by the band, Rochelle Wiseman said: "The thought that we are about to take on arenas sends a shiver down my spine, it's everything we've ever dreamed of as a band -- and we know the end of the year is going to come around so fast. Playing an arena is a terrifying, but most exciting thought!"

The girls' profile has grown in recent years, having previously starred in their own prime-time series on ITV2 ‘The Saturdays: 24/7’ with a new mini-series ‘What Goes On Tour’ to be broadcast on Channel 4.

Tickets are on sale this Wednesday, 29th June at 9am from Ticketmaster,
