Aruba Networks Establishes International HQ In Cork
An established provider of next-generation network access solutions is to set up its International Headquarters and Shared Services Centre, for all regions outside the Americas, in Cork.
Aruba Networks is expected to create as many as 40 jobs over four years.
The centre will have responsibility for shared services, supply chain management, inside sales and customer support. IDA Ireland worked closely with the company to secure the investment for Ireland.
Aruba Networks provide next-generation network access solutions for the mobile enterprise. The company’s Mobile Virtual Enterprise (MOVE) architecture unifies wired and wireless network infrastructures into one seamless access solution for corporate headquarters, mobile business professionals, remote workers and guests. This unified approach to access networks dramatically improves productivity and lowers capital and operational costs.
Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton, who is currently on the West Coast of the US with IDA Ireland CEO, Barry O’Leary made the announcement from Aruba Networks’ HQ in California where he was joined by Hitesh Sheth, Chief Operating Officer for Aruba, and other Aruba executives.
Making the announcement, Minister Bruton said: “If Ireland is to turn the corner and get employment growing again, one vital part of this will be retaining and building on our traditional strengths. I am delighted to announce on the first full day of my trade mission to the USA that another world-leading ICT company is choosing to locate its international headquarters in Ireland. The announcement demonstrates once again the crucial importance of our low corporation tax, our skilled workforce and our existing base of high-tech companies, and I am determined to build on those strengths to get jobs growth moving again”.
