Hugo Duncan Set For Stormont Residence
BBC DJ Hugo Duncan is to visit his show on Stormont this Bank Holiday Monday during a family fun day at the estate.
Families are welcome to go along and enjoy a day out of activities and entertainment, which will see the grounds of the NI Assembly (pictured) filled with a multitude of attractions all in support of BBC Children in Need.
The attractions include kiddies rides, bungee trampolining, giant slides and a teddy bears' ring, which offers competitions for children and their favourite toys.
The will also be a nine-hole mini crazy golf course, balloon modelling, laser games, a rodeo bull, a Kentucky derby, and more.
DJ Hugo Duncan will be providing some aural entertainment broadcasting his radio show live from 1.30 until 3.00pm.
There will also be a number of Foodzones where parents can purchase crepes, fruit smoothies, freshly made pizzas or try out a new noodle bar.
Encouraging families to attend, Event Director Ronnie McAleese said: "This Family Fun Day offers a wide range of activities, suitable for all ages and provides fantastic value for money as the majority of activities are free of charge or request only a small donation. I would encourage people to come along and see what's on display and enjoy what will be a great day out."
Other attractions include exhibits by Waterways Ireland, Exploris Aquarium, the Ark Open Farm and there will be a Dogzone on the Assembly Lawn where children can see dog obedience, dog fashion and dog agility displays.
Meanwhile, the Sportzone will give attendees a chance to take part in activities with a number of Northern Ireland's popular sports including Ulster Rugby, the GAA, football, basketball and the Belfast Giants.
Vehicle entrance to the Stormont Estate will only be via Stoney Road and a shuttle bus will provide transportation to Carson's Statue. All donations for car parking within Stormont Estate will be given to Children in Need.

The BBC's 'Really Wild Show' is set to come to Belfast this weekend in an event hosted by the Ulster Wildlife Trust (UWT). The top children's wildlife programme will be at the Bog Meadows Nature Reserve in Belfast on Sunday, August 7, between 11am to 4pm.
