ICS Computing expansion strategy

Belfast-based software solutions company, ICS Computing, is to establish a new division in Dublin as part of an all-Ireland expansion strategy.

Providing a range of IT services that include accounting systems, payroll services and software development, ICS Computing has experienced considerable success since its establishment in 1967.

Over the past three years, the company has expanded significantly in mainland Britain, with new offices opening in London, Glasgow and Newbury.

The new Dublin office, to be located at the Citywest Business Campus, will see the employment of staff predominately in the sales and marketing sector.

David Mawhinney, ICS Computing Managing Director, said: “We have been working with clients in the Republic over the last two years. The level of business we are now doing more than justifies the opening of a dedicated office – and we believe there is immense potential for the range of IT solutions we offer.”

In addition, to provide the extra infrastructure to support the Dublin expansion, ICS Computing has also announced that it will be creating an extra 200 jobs at its headquarters in Northern Ireland over the next two years. (CL)
