Kilo Of Semtex Recovered During Easter Searches
The PSNI has revealed more than a kilo of Semtex was seized during searches in south Armagh and east Tyrone over the Easter weekend.
The searches were sparked by the discovery of weapons and the arrests of three men near Keady in south Armagh on Good Friday, following ongoing anti-terror operation against dissident activity.
A horizontal mortar containing more than half a kilo of Semtex, and another half kilo of Semtex, were among the haul.
Three timer power units, booster tubes and a detonator, coffee grinders and 25 kilos of home-made explosives were also recovered - along with an automatic weapon, a silencer and ammunition.

Over 1,000 Gas Cylinders Seized In South Armagh
Four people have been arrested and over 1,000 gas cylinders have been seized in south Armagh on Monday. As part of an investigation into the illegal production and sale of bottled gas, police conducted searches at premises on Coolderry Road, Newry and Larkins Road, Crossmaglen.

Three people have been arrested in a major joint PSNI and Gardai operation this morning into suspected organised crime activities in the border area. Gardai arrested two men and a woman for questioning following the operation during which a number of searches were carried out.

Man Jailed For Storing Semtex And Guns For Dissident Republicans
A man has been jailed for three-and-a half years after storing Semtex, guns and bullets for dissident republicans at his parents' home in Belfast. Kevin Nolan, from west Belfast, moved to England after he received the items. He pleaded guilty to a number of terrorism related offences and is also to serve three-and-a-half years on licence.
