Technology Firm Creates 50 Dublin Jobs

Global technology firm Asset Control is to create 50 jobs in Dublin.

The company, which specialises in financial services, processing, market management and reference data, says the quality of software and technological skills in Ireland allowed it to expand its staff levels here.

The investment is being supported by the IDA.

Internet company AOL is to provide 50 new software engineering jobs at its Dublin development centre over the next two years. The company also announced it is moving to new headquarters in Dublin city centre from its base at Citywest, where it has been for the past ten years.

Labour TD Joe Costello has welcomed the announcement by Citrix of 50 new jobs at its East Point facilities in Dublin. Citrix, which offers mobile workspace technologies, will see the number of people it employs in Ireland grow to 265 people by the end of 2014.
