Father And Son Wounded In Dublin Shooting
A man and his 17-year-old son have been injured in a shooting in Stepaside in Dublin.
Two gunmen in a silver Ford Mondeo car blocked their way as they walking out of Grianan Fidh, Aiken's Village after 8am, and fired a number of shots at them.
The father and son were attacked as parents were bringing their children to school just yards away and the victims were taken to St Vincent's University Hospital.
Gardaí are now treating the attack as attempted murder and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
They are also seeking information on the movements of the Silver Mondeo car, which the gunmen left at the scene as they fled on foot.
The 38-year-old man, who is originally from Lithuania, is in a critical condition after he was hit a number of times in the upper body, while his son was shot in the arm.

Police have appealed for information following a robbery outside an ATM machine in north Belfast on Thursday. Shortly before 3pm two cash-in-transit employees were approached outside an ATM machine on the Cavehill Road by a man armed with a machete.

A mother and her two sons have been attacked at their house in Co Antrim on Thursday. Two masked men attacked the 46-year-old woman and her sons outside their Moss Side Gardens home, near Ballymoney, at about 11pm.

Teen Driving Stolen Van Killed On M1
A teenager has been killed in a crash on the M1 motorway on Wednesday night. The 17-year-old boy was driving a stolen transit van when it hit a barrier between the Blaris and Saintfield junctions at around 10.50pm. The van is believed to have been stolen from the Republic of Ireland earlier in the evening.

Petrol Bomb Family Escape Injury
A Co Antrim family has escaped injury in a weekend petrol bomb attack. The mother, father and adult son - all members of the same family were in the house when the device was thrown through an upstairs window of the house at Kilmakevit Road in Cullybackey. The petrol bomb started a small fire but the occupants managed to extinguish it.
