Micro Computer Solutions top Sage league
Craigavon based computer services company, Micro Computer Solutions Ltd (MCS), has received a prestigious award from Sage for outstanding sales of its Line 50 accounting and payroll solutions range.
Sage remains one of the leading software development companies in the UK and the award to MCS comes on the back of the Portadown business doubling its turnover over the past 12 months.
Speaking at the award presentation MCS sales director Steven Boyes said that there was a growing recognition, particularly within the small to medium sized business sector that remaining competitive was the only way forward for companies across Northern Ireland.
He added: “We are proud to receive this accolade. It highlights our commitment to providing clients with effective and efficient accounting solutions. As a company, we provide a complete IT solutions package. And that means meeting the individual needs of clients on an ongoing basis.”
Mr Boyes concluded by saying that despite all the talk of possible recession, local businesses needed to recognise that they would have to continue to invest for the future. Part of this, he said, would entail embracing new computer and communications-based technologies on an ongoing basis. (MB)
