Result Due In Fermanagh Election Challenge
It is expected that a judgement will be handed down today on a legal challenge over the result of last May's general election in the Fermanagh and South Tyrone constituency.
The Sinn Fein MP, Michelle Gildernew retained Fermanagh and South Tyrone seat by just four votes with a challenge brought by the Unionist Unity candidate Rodney Connor who lost after three recounts.
The result saw Ms Gildernew returned as MP, retaining the seat she has held since 2001.
During a three-day hearing before an Election Court in Dungannon last month, Mr Connor alleged there had been breaches of election rules and sought to have his narrow defeat to Ms Gildernew reviewed.
The election was the first time in Northern Ireland that counting of the votes took place overnight immediately after the polls closed.
The Lord Chief Justice will deliver the judgment on the matter in Belfast later this morning and the Election Court will make a determination to the Speaker of the House of Commons, which is deemed to be final.
