Smiles As Dental Firm Create Jobs
Dental care firm Smiles has announced the creation of 100 jobs next year as part of a €3 million expansion.
The privately run company said it was to open 10 new clinics around the country, with the first opening in Letterkenny, Co Donegal, in January.
Three of the new clinics will be in Dublin and the company also plans to expand its premises on Waterloo Road in the Capital.
Smiles Dental opened in 2005 as a tooth-whitening clinic, and has grown to 13 clinics around the country offering a range of dental services, treating more than 100,000 patients last year.
Founder and Chief Executive Emmet O'Neill said the company's strategy was to appeal to people at a local level, and also expand to allow it to compete on price.
