Beck's Launch 'Music Inspires Art'
Beck's Vier has celebrated its new Music Inspires Art campaign at a launch event in Belfast this week.
The event, hosted by Tennent's Northern Ireland and attended by an audience of distinguished guests, took place at the Stiff Kitten in Belfast. It provided guests with an opportunity to witness why Beck's Vier is 'Different By Choice' and experience the brands new platform of 'Music Inspires Art'. The surprise night united leading Irish art and music talent to create original and exhilarating performances based around the four key ingredients of the premium brewed pilsner lager – water, barley, hops and yeast.

Two Women Arrested Following Drugs Seizure
Two 23 year-old-women have been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences in Newry. Police carried out a planned search of a house in the Richmond Court area on 20 May. A quantity of cash and drugs in tablet, liquid, powder and resin form were seized.

Plans For MTV Music Event In Belfast Dropped
Plans for an MTV music event due to be hosted in Belfast this September have been dropped by Belfast City Council (BCC). MTV had reportedly been in discussions to host an event in Belfast which would have brought some of the biggest names in the music business to the city. However, BCC said the event has now been dropped.
