Northern Ireland Yearbook launched
Anyone who needs quick and reliable information on Northern Ireland can get to the heart of the matter in minutes with the Northern Ireland Yearbook 2002.
Crammed with essential information on the province’s political, economic and social environment, the first edition has been compiled from reliable sources of statistical and factual information, making it an ideal reference tool for policy makers, civil servants, business people, journalists and politicians alike.
It includes a political directory, an A to Z of all Government departments and agencies, a guide to the Northern Ireland Civil Service and a comprehensive breakdown of all the Local Authorities. These are complemented by a detailed and objective political overview.
For business users, the book incorporates a comprehensive analysis of the economy and a practical guide to conducting business in Northern Ireland. Useful contact numbers for political, voluntary and representative organisations are also listed.
Editor Michael McKernan, said: “The Northern Ireland Yearbook 2002 provides all the information you are likely to need in one well-produced, easy-to-use volume. Never before has so much genuinely helpful and useful information about Northern Ireland been assembled in one book.”
For convenience, The Stationery Office has produced The Northern Ireland Yearbook 2002 in two formats. The first executive version is case bound with an imitation grained leather cover complete with gold leaf insets. It costs £50 and is an ideal corporate gift. The second is a lighter hardback version costing £35.
The book is available by calling the Parliamentary Hotline on 08457 023 474, quoting ISBN - 0 95 376723 X for a leather bound edition or ISBN - 0 95 376724 8 for the hardback edition. Alternatively, log on to the website - www.clicktso.com.
