Kia Announces Insurance Deal with Equity Direct
Buyers of new and used Kia vehicles can now access competitive motor insurance cover following the manufacturer’s alliance with leading UK insurer, Equity Direct Broking.
Kia Insurance Services policies will be available through Kia Motor’s UK network of 150 dealerships. Buyers of new and used vehicles can also take advantage of seven days free comprehensive insurance, allowing them to drive their vehicles home the same day they buy.
Simon Hetherington, Kia Motors (UK) Limited’s Marketing Director said: "Equity demonstrates the online expertise and high levels of customer service we were looking for when selecting a partner to represent Kia. Its flexible products are going to be particularly attractive to buyers keen to get the best from Kia’s innovative after sales services."
Building upon the peace of mind offered by Kia’s industry-leading seven year new vehicle warranty, all Kia Insurance Services policies come with reassuring benefits.
These include a three year workmanship guarantee on all repairs,courtesy car provided when using an approved repairer (subject to availability) and Child seat cover as standard.
As well as this named drivers can earn a no claims bonus (on purchase of a Kia Insurance Services policy), will have free cover to drive throughout the European Union for periods of up to 60 days and can take advantage of a 24-hour UK based claims helpline.

Kia 'Smashes' Sales Records
With sales of 50,636 vehicles in 2009 Kia Motors (UK) Ltd, has smashed records for the brand both in Britain and across Europe. This is the first time any Kia subsidiary has broken the 50,000 sales mark in any European country and in the UK it represents a massive boost for the brand’s recognition and popularity amongst new car buyers.
