Great Interest In The New Volvo FMX

The new Volvo FMX has now made its first appearance, with the world premiere taking place at the construction exhibitions in Munich and Moscow yesterday.

In a simultaneous move, news of the launch of the Volvo FMX was launched online via social media websites - such as Twitter, YouTube and Facebook - and various transport-related Blogs and Forums.

Within hours the web was 'alive' with users accessing the user unique games, sound files and downloadable images. Reactions have been gauged and interest in this new, rugged construction truck has been "massive".

"This is a very important launch for us, and reactions have been very positive. There is no doubt that the new Volvo FMX will prove to be very popular. After all, this truck was developed directly from input we received from the construction sites, and here is the result," said Claes Nilsson, President Europe Division, Volvo Trucks.

A film from the world premiere at the Bauma 2010 exhibition in Munich has now been uploaded to You Tube with more films being made available within the near future.
