Top Award For Fiat Playlist

The Fiat 500C Feelgood Playlist has won a top category in this year’s MediaGuardian Innovation Awards.

The Playlist – in which music lovers choose favourite tracks that can be shared and enjoyed by others – has taken the Community Engagement category in the prestigious awards, held recently in London.

Last year Fiat, together with digital agency AKQA and media organisation Mediaedge:cia, teamed up with Spotify, the digital music service, to create the Feelgood Playlist – possibly the world’s greatest collection of summer tunes for the Fiat 500C.

In September users were asked to whittle down the list to create the Fiat 500C Feelgood 50 – a perfect selection to enjoy on the move.

"The idea behind the Playlist was to promote the new 500C to a fresh audience of ‘free-thinkers’," said Elena Bernardelli, marketing director, Fiat Group Automobiles UK & Ireland.

"And not only have we managed to achieve that, but we have won the backing of the industry too, as these important MediaGuardian awards show. I am delighted that we have won this accolade as we move forward with more ideas for Fiat 500 and 500C."

The Fiat 500C starts at £12,300 (OTR) for the 1.2 Pop, rising to £16,100 (OTR) for the 1.3 16v MultiJet Lounge.
