Business, IT & Telecoms show set for Odyssey

This year’s AFM ‘Business IT & Telecoms’ show will be held at the Odyssey Arena from Thursday January 31 to Friday February 1.

The conference will emphasise good commercial business practice through the application of cutting-edge technology and proven e-solutions for their businesses. To that end, the organisers – AFM – have billed the conference as an attempt to “compliment your bricks and mortar with clicks and mortar”.

As the telecoms and IT industries are the fastest changing markets in the world, this is a unique chance for Northern Ireland business to come and see the latest advances at first hand. There is also the opportunity to learn how to promote products and services in the virtual marketplace.

The keynote speech will be made by Sir Ranulph Fiennes and among the delegates addressing the conference will be Hanif Lalani, chief executive BTNI, Tim Whitby, managing director Intel UK and Ireland and Clay Woods from the US department of commerce.

Along with the programme of speeches from market leaders there will be discussions on local success and question-and-answer sessions.

The event runs from on Thursday from 11am to 7pm, and on Friday from 11am to 5pm. (GMcG)
