Charges Follow Co Antrim Burglary

The PSNI have revealed that an 18-year-old man and a 36-year-old female have been charged over an aggravated burglary at house in Co Antrim.

They are facing charges for offences following the incident in the Longstone Street area of Lisburn during the early hours of Monday morning.

The male has been charged with aggravated burglary and common assault to appear before Lisburn Magistrates' Court later today.

The woman has been charged with aggravated burglary and will appear before Lisburn Magistrates' Court on 29th March.

A 15-year-old male was released on bail pending further enquiries.

As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

Man remanded in custody after 105 burgalries
A man has appeared in court today in Belfast in connection with 105 burglaries across Northern Ireland. James Meneely, 38, from Rogan Manor in the city was arrested by police officers investigating the burglaries in Belfast, Newcastle and Coleraine. The charges relate to mainly private houses. He was remanded in custody until later in April.

A third man has been charged with attempted murder after a house was attacked in Larne. Shots were fired at the property in the Brustin Brae Road area and a car was set alight outside on Monday, 11 September.

Man to appear in court on burglary charges
A man is to appear in court on Wednesday in connection with the burglary of a house in Co Armagh last week. The accused has been charged with aggravated burglary in relation to the break-in at the house near Loughgall on 9 November and is due to appear before magistrates in Newry.

Two men to appear in court over separate burglary charges
A 39-year-old man is to appear in Belfast Magistrates Court today charged with aggravated burglary and threats to kill. The charges relate to an incident at Ava Avenue in the Ormeau Road area of south Belfast recently. In a separate incident a 19-year-old man is also to appear in court charged with burglary and assault.
