Possible 200 Jobs For Louth
Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Mary Coughlan has announced a major parmaceutical company is to establish its headquarters in County Louth.
Ms Coughlan said Warner Chilcott plc, a global pharmaceutical company listed on NASDAQ, is to establish a new headquarters in Dundalk, which has the potential to create up to 200 high-skilled positions in the coming years.
The investment is supported by the Irish Government through IDA Ireland. Warner Chilcott’s location in Dundalk is expected to house a host of functions, which may include executive offices, analytical services, manufacturing operations and shared services to support Warner Chilcott’s operations in the EU.
Warner Chilcott, a global specialty pharmaceutical company, currently focuses on the gastroenterology, women's healthcare, dermatology and urology segments of the US and Western European pharmaceuticals markets.

The establishment of the new operation will support the company’s commercial launch of its Hepatic Chemosat Delivery System in Europe.

Three Firms To Create Over 100 Jobs
More than 200 new jobs are to be created by three firms in Galway and Dublin. In Galway, 100 will be created by SmartBear, an American firm establishing its new European headquarters in the city, while in Dublin, 15 jobs are to be created by IT project management company Daysha Consulting, as part of a €1.5m investment.

50 Tech Jobs For Limerick
Fifty 'high quality' technology jobs are to be created in Limerick by US firm DTS Inc, it has been revealed. The company produces surround-sound audio products. With support from IDA Ireland, DTS is planning to set up a European headquarters at the Limericks National Technology Park. Recruitment for the jobs is already underway.
